Immad Akhund is the founder and CEO of Mercury, a company that makes banking for startups easy. As a kid interested in programming for fun, he wouldn’t have guessed that he was going to end up here, and as he mentioned in our interview with him, he tried more than once to start a company.

It all began in Karachi, Pakistan, where Immad would often play long games of cricket and swim with his friends. When he turned nine, his parents decided to move the family to the United Kingdom (despite a drastic lifestyle shift) in pursuit of educational opportunities for them.
